Fishing Report August 3, 2022

SWPA, SouthWest Power Administration has been running a consistent generation schedule for the last several weeks. Usually running two units starting at 2 pm and running till 7 pm.
The weekend generation schedule has been similar with some reduced flows.Always check the USACE Little Rock app for the generation schedule before heading out. With the temperatures in the 90’s and heat index in the 100’s I’d expect to see the same generation schedule continue.

The best bite has been early in the morning before it gets hot. We have excellent wading opportunities for the entire river. Try fishing the deep holes and oxygenated riffles also alongside the moss beds.

Fishing the falling water from the boat with Pheasant tails, Guide Choice Hares ear and Midges have been working well. The streamer bite has been good while fishing the falling water. Small streamer patterns like Slump-Busters or Conehead Wooly-buggers fished with a intermediate line or sink tip have been producing.
